|
(a) if the retention lease authorises the
carrying out of only exploration operations under the lease—

(i) if the lease is granted for a term of
less than 5 years (or an aggregate term of 5 years); or

greater

(ii) if the term or aggregate term of the
lease has reached the period of 5 years from the grant date, and the
lease is renewed for a period of less than 5 years (or an aggregate term
of 5 years); or
| $293.00 or $39.50 for each hectare or part of a hectare in the
area of the lease, whichever is the greater

(iii) if the term or aggregate term of the
lease has reached the period of 10 years from the grant date, and the
lease is renewed for a further period or periods; or

area of the lease, whichever is the greater

(b) in any other case
