s1 2 s3 Mining Legislation (Postponement) No. 226, 2000 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Mining Legislation (Postponement) Regulation 2000 . ˙ Postponed commencement of uncommenced provisions 2.(1) The period before automatic commencement, under the Acts Interpretation Act 1954 , section 15DA(2), of the postponed laws is extended to the end of 2 September 2001. 1 (2) In this section— “postponed laws” means the uncommenced provisions of the CoalMiningSafetyandHealthAct1999 and the MiningandQuarrying Safety and Health Act 1999. ˙ Expiry 3.
