Mining Amendment Regulations (No. 4) 1999

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Mining Amendment
Regulations (No. 4) 1999.

2.            Regulation 86 amended

Regulation 86 of the Mining Regulations 1981* is amended in the Table in the item relating to Vanadium —

(a)	by deleting "5%" in Column 2; and
(b)	by inserting in Column 3 —

The higher of —

(a) 5% of the amount calculated by deducting from the realized value of vanadium pentoxide produced from the vanadium such costs of producing that vanadium pentoxide as are allowed by the Minister

after consultation with the person liable to pay the

(b) 1.5% of the realized value of vanadium pentoxide

produced from the vanadium.
