MINING AMENDMENT REGULATIONS (NO. 4) 1993

Made by His Excellency the Governor in Executive Council.

Citation

1. These regulations may be cited as the Mining Amendment Regulations

(No. 4) 1993.

By His Excellency's Command, D. G. BLIGHT, Clerk of the Council.

Regulation 86F inserted

2. After regulation 86E of the Mining Regulations 1981* the following

regulation is inserted —

Specific reductions of royalty rates

86F. (1) Notwithstanding regulation 86 (2), the royalty rate payable for all mineral sands products sold by the Tiwest Joint Venture and RGG Mineral Sands Limited is 2.5%.

(2) Notwithstanding regulation 86 (2), the royalty rate payable for ilmenite used as feedstock by the Tiwest Joint Venture and RGC Mineral Sands Limited is $1.15 per tonne.
