Mining Amendment Regulations (No. 3) 2018

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.       Citation

18 September 2018 GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, WA 3517

2.            Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows -

(a)	regulations 1 and 2—on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations - on the day after that day.

3. Regulations amended
These regulations amend the Mining Regulations 1981.

4.            Regulation 64 amended

In regulation 64(la) delete "section 58(2)(a)." and insert:

section 58(2).

5. Regulation 86 amended
In regulation 86 in the Table:

(a) after "Bauxite" insert:

(crushed or screened)

(b) after " Chromite insert:

(concentrate)

(c) in the item relating to Coal after "-exported" insert:

(crushed or screened)

(d) in the item relating to Ilmenite delete "(other than ilmenite

feedstock as defined in regulation 86AC)" and insert:

(concentrate) other than ilmenite feedstock as defined in regulation 86AC

(e) in the item relating to Iron Ore after "beneficiated"

(1St occurrence) insert:

iron

(f) in the item relating to Iron Ore delete "other than beneficiated

ore" and insert:

(crushed or screened)

(g) after "Leucoxene" insert:
