Mining Amendment Regulations (No. 3) 2001

Made by the deputy of the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Mining Amendment
Regulations (No. 3) 2001.

2.             Regulation 86 amended

The Table to regulation 86 of the Mining Regulations 1981* is amended after the item relating to Zircon as follows:

(a) in the column headed “Mineral” by inserting —

“

Any other mineral not specifically listed in this Table,
excluding gold metal within the meaning of

regulation 86AA

”;

(b) in column 3 by inserting —

“

The rate is —

(a) if sold as crushed or screened material,

7.5% of the realised value; or

(b) if sold as a concentrate, 5% of the realised

value.

”.
