Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Mining Act 1992.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to clarify a reference in the Mining Regulation 2010 to persons who may be appointed by the Minister for Resources and Energy as Chairperson of the Mine Safety Advisory Council.

This Regulation is made under the Mining Act 1992, including sections 341 and 388 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Mining Amendment (Mine Safety Advisory
Council) Regulation 2012.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the

NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Mining Regulation 2010
Clause 66 Membership of Council

Omit “(1) (d)” from clause 66 (3). Insert instead “(2) (d)”.
