I, the Governor, acting under section 2(2) of the Mining Amendment Act 1994, and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, fix the day on which this proclamation is published in the Govern- ment Gazette as the day on which Part 2 (other than sections 5, 22, 27, 38, 39 and 40) and section 52 of that Act come into operation.
