AN ACT to amend the Mining Act, 1904-1950.
[Assented to 19th November, 1952.]
BE it enacted, by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

| (2) | In this Act the Mining Act, 1904-1950, |
Act No. 15 of 1904, reprinted with amendments to and including Act No. 56 of 1937 incorporated pursuant to the Amendments Incorporation Act, 1938, and further amended by Acts Nos. 48 of 1945, 84 of 1948 and 26 of 1950,
is referred to as the principal Act.
(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act
may be cited as the Mining Act, 1904-1952.

principal Act is amended by
| (a) | substituting for paragraph (b) of subsec- tion (2) the following |
| (b) | two, who shall in each case to be considered and determined by the Tribunal- |
(i) be members of the Union;
(ii) be referred to as the employees' representatives;
(iii) represent the employees;
| (b) | substituting for subsection (5) the fol- lowing |
(5) The term of office of the Chairman and employers' representatives shall be for two years. ;
| (c) | substituting for subsection (6) the fol- lowing |
(6) The Chairman and the employers' representatives shall be eligible for reappointment at the expiration of the term of their office.
