AN ACT to amend the Mining Act, 1904-1971.

[Assented to 15th May, 1973.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Mining Act Amendment Act, 1973.	and citation.

(2) In this Act the Mining Act, 1904-1971, is approved for reprint 20th

Sections 23

and 24 2. Sections 23 and 24 of the principal Act are

repealed.	hereby repealed.
Section 42
amended.	3, Section 42 of the principal Act is amended by deleting the passage ", not being an Asiatic or African alien," in lines two and three.
Section 98

Section 48 of the principal Act is amended by

deleting the passage ", not being an Asiatic or

African alien," in lines two and three.

Section 214

Section 214 of the principal Act is amended by deleting the passage commencing with the word "No" in line thirteen and ending with the word "obtained" in the final line.
