AN ACT to make provision in the Mining Act, 1904- 1933, for the protection of the Government Geologist and other persons entering land in the course of their official duties.

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,by and with the advice and consent of the Legis-

lative . Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

This section shall apply to all land, whether

owned or held by private persons or otherwise, and

irrespective of the nature of the tenure thereof.

(3) Any person who interferes with or obstructs the Government Geologist or an officer acting under the instructions of the Government Geologist in the exercise of any of the powers or authorities con- ferred by this section shall be guilty of an offence against this Act.
