HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Mining Act 1973, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

NEIL PICKARD
Minister for Minerals and Energy.

The Mining Regulations 1974 are amended by omitting from regulation 7 (2A) (b) (i) the matter "9am." and by inserting instead the matter "9.30 am.".

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to change from 9 am. to 9.30 a.m. the time at which the Mining Registrar, Sydney, opens each day for the receipt of applications. The change will bring the opening time for the Mining Registrar, Sydney, into line with that for Mining Registrars elsewhere.
