MINING ACT 1973 - REGULATION

(Relating to fees)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Mining Act 1973, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on 1 April 1990.

Amendment

2. The Mining Regulations 1974 are amended by inserting in Schedule 1 after the matter relating to an application for a prospecting licence the following new matter:

On application for appointment of an arbitrator in

default of agreement ................................................. 100.00

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of the Regulation is to set the fee payable where an arbitrator is to be appointed following a failure to agree on arrangements for access to land for the purposes of the Mining Act 1973.
