Mines Safety and Inspection Levy Amendment

Regulations (No. 2) 2011

Made by the Lieutenant-Governor and Administrator in Executive
Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Mines Safety and Inspection Levy
Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2011.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.             Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Mines Safety and Inspection Levy
Regulations 2010.

4.             Regulation 8 amended

In regulation 8 delete the passage that begins with “where —”
and ends with “quarter.” and insert:

where —

H	is the number of assessed hours for the quarter; and
R	is —

(a)	for a quarter that ends on or before 30 June 2011 — $0.125;
(b)	for a quarter that begins on or after 1 July 2011 — $0.180.
