MINES SAFETY AND INSPECTION AMENDMENT

REGULATIONS (No. 4) 1996

Made by His Excellency the Governor in Executive Council.

Citation

1. These regulations may be cited as the Mines Safety and Inspection

Amendment Regulations (No. 4) 1996.

Principal regulations

2. In these regulations the Mines Safety and Inspection Regulations 1995*

are referred to as the principal regulations.

Regulation 1.3 amended

3.   Regulation 1.3 of the principal regulations is amended —

(a) by deleting the semicolon at the end of the definition of "Worksafe

Australia" and substituting a full stop; and

(b) by deleting the definition of "Worksafe WA Commissioner".

Regulation 7.1 amended

4.   Regulation 7.1 of the principal regulations is amended in the definition

of "approved" by deleting "Worksafe WA Commissioner" and substituting the

following —

" State mining engineer ".
