His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Mines Rescue Act 1994.

Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to prescribe the contributions payable by the owners of certain coal mines to the Mines Rescue Board for the year ending on 30 June 1998 (Schedule 1 [l] and [2]).

This Regulation is made under the Mines Rescue Act 1994, including section

31 and section 50 (the general regulation-making power).
