An Act to amend the definition of "Metal" and "mineral" in section 4 (1 ) of the Mines Inspection Act, 1901, so as to include substances obtained for use by councils or county councils. [Assented to, 9th October, 1975.]

Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative

Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. This Act may be cited as the "Mines Inspection

(Amendment) Act, 1975".

2 . The Mines Inspection Act, 1901, is amended by inserting in the definition of "Metal" and "mineral" in section 4 ( 1 ) after the word "purposes" the words "or obtained for use by a council, as defined in section 4 of the Local Government Act, 1919, or by a county council constituted under that Act",
