Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

Part 1Preliminary1.Citation

These regulations are the Mines and Petroleum Regulations Amendment (Fees and Charges) Regulations 2024.

2.Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

  • (a)

    Part 1 — on the day on which these regulations are published on the WA legislation website;

  • (b)

    the rest of the regulations — on 1 July 2024.

Part 2Dangerous Goods Safety (Explosives) Regulations 2007 amended3.Regulations amended

This Part amends the Dangerous Goods Safety (Explosives) Regulations 2007.

13.Regulation 8 amended

In regulation 8 in the description of the variable “R” delete paragraphs (a) to (i) and insert:

  • (a)

    for a quarter that begins on or after 1 July 2020 and ends on or before 30 June 2024 — $0.17;

  • (b)

    for a quarter that begins on or after 1 July 2024 — $0.16.
