Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

Part 1 — Preliminary

1.   Citation

These regulations are the Mines and Petroleum Regulations

Amendment (Fees and Charges) Regulations 2023.

2.   Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)

Part 1 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;

(b) the rest of the regulations — on 1 July 2023.

This Part amends the Dangerous Goods Safety (Major Hazard
Facilities) Regulations 2007.

Delete Schedule 3 and insert:

1. Fees for approval of safety reports (r. 26)

The relevant fee to be paid under regulation 26 for an application for approval of a safety report for a major hazard facility is the fee in the Table relevant to the class of the facility.

Transport of Non-explosives) Regulations 2007.

8.            Regulation 194 amended

Delete regulation 194(1)(b) and insert:

9.            Regulation 218 amended

Delete regulation 218(2)(e) and insert: (e) the fee determined under regulation 272 Table
