Regulations 2000

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to increase the rate of royalty for the removal of gypsum for agricultural purposes under the Mineral Resources Development Act 1990.

2. Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 124 of the Mineral Resources Development Act 1990.

3. Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 30 June

2000.

4. Increase in royalty for gypsum

In the table in regulation 5(1) of the Mineral Resources (Royalties) Regulations 19911, for "$0.40 per cubic metre" substitute "$0.41 per cubic metre".
