2 Mineral Resources (Restricted Area 277) No. 347, 1992 ˙ Short title 1. This order in council may be cited as the Mineral Resources (Restricted Area 277) Order 1992 . ˙ Commencement 2. This order in council commences on 23 October 1992. ˙ Definition 3. In this order in council— “Restricted Area 277” means the land on Block Identification Map, Series B in the office of the department, within— (a) sub-block z, block 2794; and (b) sub-block v, block 2795; and (c) sub-block e, block 2866; and (d) sub-blocks a, b, c, d, f, g, h, j, k, m, n, o, and p, block 2867; and (e) sub-blocks f, g, h, l, m, n, o, p, r, s, t, u, y and z, block 2868; and (f) sub-blocks q, r, v, w, x, y and z, block 2869; and (g) sub-blocks d and e, block 2940; and (h) sub-blocks a, b, c, d, e, g, h, j, k, o and p, block 2941; and (i) sub-blocks a, b, c, f, g, h, j, k, l, m, n, o and p, block 2942; and (j) sub-blocks f, g, h, j, k, l, m, n, o, p, q, r, s, t, u and v, block 2943; and (k) sub-blocks f, l and q, block 2944. ˙ Restrictions on grant 4. The grant, and the making of an application for a grant of— (a) a prospecting permit; or (b) a mining claim; or (c) an exploration permit; or

3 Mineral Resources (Restricted Area 277) No. 347, 1992 (d) a mineral development licence; or (e) a mining lease; in relation to land within Restricted Area 277 is prohibited. ˙ What applications are not affected 5. Section 4 does not affect the grant of a permit, claim or licence mentioned in that section on an application made before this order in council commenced. ENDNOTES 1.
