2 Mineral Resources (Restricted Area 270) Order No. 278, 1992 (No. 2) ˙ Short title 1. This order in council may be cited as the Mineral Resources (Restricted Area 270) Order (No. 2) 1992 . ˙ Definition 2. In this order in council— “restricted area 270” means the land within sub-block q of block 2631 on Department of Resource Industries Block Identification Map, Series B Brisbane, that is delineated on Department of Resource Industries Plan No. MP 36083. ˙ Prohibition of grants and applications 3. Subject to section 4, the grant or application for grant of— (a) a mining claim; or (b) an exploration permit; or (c) a mineral development licence; or (d) a mining lease, other than for the mining of foundry sand; is prohibited in relation to restricted area 270. ˙ What grants and applications are not affected? 4. This order in council does not affect— (a) the grant, or application for grant, of a prospecting permit; or (b) a grant made before the commencement of this order in council; or (c) an application for a grant lodged before the commencement of this order in council; or (d) a grant made pursuant to an application for grant lodged before the commencement of this order in council.

3 Mineral Resources (Restricted Area 270) Order No. 278, 1992 (No. 2) ˙ Consequential amendments 5.(1) The order in council published in the Gazette on 1 September 1990 at page 182, relating to restricted area 148, as amended, is further amended as set out in this section. (2) Schedule— omit ‘ 2631 . . . . a, f, g, l, m, r, s, v, w, x. ’, insert ‘ 2631 . . . . a, f, g, l, m, q, r, s, v, w, x. ’. (3) Schedule— omit— ‘ exclusive of the area seaward of mean low water mark on Bribie Island. ’, insert— ‘ exclusive of— (a) the area of land delineated on Department of Resource Industries Plan No. MP 36083; and (b) the area seaward of the mean low water mark on Bribie Island. ’. ˙ Repeal 6.
