2 Mineral Resources (Restricted Area 269) No. 344, 1992 ˙ Short title 1. This order in council may be cited as the Mineral Resources (Restricted Area 269) Order 1992 . ˙ Definitions 2. In this order in council— “Restricted Area 269” means the following land within sub-blocks v, w and x of block 2017 and sub-blocks a, b and c of block 2089— (a) lot 67 on Department of Lands Plan No. AU67; (b) the road along the western boundary of lot 67. ˙ Prohibition of grants and applications 3. The grant, and the making of an application for a grant of— (a) a prospecting permit; or (b) a mining claim; or (c) an exploration permit; or (d) a mineral development licence; or (e) a mining lease; in relation to land within Restricted Area 269 is prohibited. ˙ What grants and applications are not affected 4. Section 4 does not affect an application for a permit, claim, licence or lease mentioned in that section on an application made before this order in council commenced.
