2 Mineral Resources (Restricted Area 240) No. 387, 1992 ˙ Short title 1. This order in council may be cited as the Mineral Resources (Restricted Area 240) Order 1992 . ˙ Definition 2. In this order— “Restricted Area 240” means land within the blocks and sub-blocks specified in the Schedule. ˙ Restriction on grants 3. The grant, and the making of an application for a grant, of— (a) a prospecting permit; and (b) a mining claim; and (c) an exploration permit; and (d) a mineral development licence; and (e) a mining lease; in relation to land within Restricted Area 240 is prohibited. ˙ What grants are not affected 4. Section 3 does not affect the grant of— (a) a prospecting permit; and (b) a mining claim; and (c) an exploration permit; and (d) a mineral development licence; and (e) a mining lease; in relation to land within Restricted Area 240, on an application made, but not finally dealt with, before the commencement of this order.
