2 Mineral Resources (Restricted Area 20) No. 342, 1992 ˙ Short title 1. This order in council may be cited as the Mineral Resources (Restricted Area 20) Order 1992 . ˙ Definition 2. In this order in council— “Restricted Area 20” means the land within blocks 3130, 3131 and 3132 on the Block Identification Map held in the office of the department, that is delineated on Plan No. 20D, also held in the office of the department. ˙ Restriction on grants 3. The grant, and the making of an application for a grant, of— (a) a prospecting permit; or (b) a mining claim; or (c) an exploration permit; or (d) a mineral development licence; or (e) a mining lease; in relation to land within Restricted Area 20 is prohibited. ˙ Referral of applications for grants 4. Before an application for the grant of a permit, claim, licence or lease mentioned in section 3 in relation to land within Restricted Area 20 is considered, the application must be referred to the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Institution ( “CSIRO” ) for its views on the application. ˙ What applications are not affected 5. This order in council does not affect an application for a permit, claim, licence or lease mentioned in section 3 made before the commencement of this order in council.
