2 Mineral Resources Amendment (No. 11) No. 334, 1993 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Mineral Resources Amendment Regulation (No. 11) 1993 . ˙ Amended regulation 2. The Mineral Resources Regulation 1990 is amended as set out in this regulation. ˙ Insertion of new s.2.1 3. Part 2 (MINING DISTRICTS)— insert— ˙ ‘Mining districts ‘2.1(1) The land included in each Part of Schedule 6 is a mining district. ‘(2) Each mining district is assigned the name stated in the Part heading. ’. ˙ Insertion of new Schedule 6 4. After Schedule 5— insert— ‘SCHEDULE 6 ‘MINING DISTRICTS section 2.1 ‘PART 1—BRISBANE MINING DISTRICT ‘ The land within the areas of the following local authorities— (a) the Cities of Brisbane, Bundaberg, Caloundra, Gold Coast,

3 Mineral Resources Amendment (No. 11) No. 334, 1993 Gympie, Hervey Bay, Ipswich, Logan, Maryborough, Redcliffe, Toowoomba and Warwick; (b) the Shires of Albert, Allora, Balonne, Beaudesert, Bendemere, Biggenden, Boonah, Booringa, Bungil, Caboolture, Cambooya, Chinchilla, Clifton, Crows Nest, Eidsvold, Esk, Gatton, Gayndah, Glengallan, Gooburrum, Inglewood, Isis, Jondaryan, kilcoy, Kilkivan, Kingaroy, Kolan, Laidley, Maroochy, Millmerran, Miriam Vale, Monto, Moreton, Mundubbera, Murgon, Murilla, Nanango, Noosa, perry, Pine Rivers, Pittsworth, Redland, Rosalie, Rosenthal, Stanthorpe, Tara, Taroom, Tiaro, Waggamba, Wambo, Warroo, Widgee, Wondai, Woocoo and Woongarra; (c) the Towns of Dalby, Goondiwindi and Roma. ‘PART 2—CHARTERS TOWERS MINING DISTRICT ‘ The land within the areas of the following local authorities— (a) the Cities of Charters Towers, Thuringowra and Townsville; (b) the Shires of Bowen, Burdekin, Dalrymple and Hinchinbrook. ‘PART 3—EMERALD MINING DISTRICT ‘ The land within the areas of the following local authorities— (a) the City of Mackay; (b) the Shires of Bauhinia, Belyando, Broadsound, Emerald, Jericho, Mirani, Nebo, Peak Downs, Pioneer, Proserpine and Sarina.

4 Mineral Resources Amendment (No. 11) No. 334, 1993 ‘PART 4—GEORGETOWN MINING DISTRICT ‘ The land within the Shires of Croydon and Etheridge. ‘PART 5—MAREEBA MINING DISTRICT ‘ The land within the areas of the following local authorities— (a) the City of Cairns; (b) the Shires of Atherton, Aurukun, Cardwell, Cook, Douglas, Eacham, Herberton, Johnston, Mareeba, Mulgrave and Torres; (c) the Town Commission of Weipa. ‘PART 6—MOUNT ISA MINING DISTRICT ‘ The land within the areas of the following local authorities is included in the Mount Isa Mining District— (a) the City of Mount Isa; (b) the Shires of Bourke, Boulia, Carpentaria, Cloncurry, Flinders, McKinlay, Mornington and Richmond. ‘PART 7—QUILPIE MINING DISTRICT ‘ The land within the Shires of Bulloo, Murweh, Paroo and Quilpie.

5 Mineral Resources Amendment (No. 11) No. 334, 1993 ‘PART 8—ROCKHAMPTON MINING DISTRICT ‘ The land within the areas of the following local authorities— (a) the Cities of Gladstone and Rockhampton; (b) the Shires of Banana, Calliope, Duaringa, Fitzroy, Livingstone and Mount Morgan. ‘PART 9—WINTON MINING DISTRICT ‘ The land within the Shires of Aramac, Barcaldine, Barcoo, Blackall, Diamantina, Ilfracombe, Isisford, Longreach, Tambo and Winton. ’. ˙ Repeals 5. Each of the following orders in council is repealed— (a) order in council made under section 2.1 of the Act and published in the Gazette on 1 September 1990; (b) order in council made under section 2.1 of the Act and published in the Gazette on 2 March 1991; (c) Mineral Resources (Mount Isa Mining District) Order 1992 ; (d) Mineral Resources (Winton Mining District) Order 1992 ; (e) Mineral Resources (Winton Mining District) Amendment Order (No. 1) 1992.
