s1 2 s6 Mineral Resources Amendment (No. 1) No. 46, 1997 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Mineral Resources Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1997 . ˙ Commencement 2. Section 6(1 ) and (2) are taken to have commenced on 1 July 1996. ˙ Regulation amended 3. This regulation amends the Mineral Resources Regulation 1990 . ˙ Amendment of s 46 (Interpretation) 4.(1) Section 46, heading— omit, insert— ‘ Definition for pt 9 ’. (2) Section 46, definition “profit”— omit. ˙ Omission of ss 52–55 5. Sections 52 to 55— omit. ˙ Amendment of sch 1 (Rate of royalties) 6.(1) Schedule 1, section 10(2)— omit. (2) Schedule 1, section 16— omit. (3) Schedule 1, sections 17 to 22— renumber as schedule 1, sections 16 to 21.
