1   Short title

This regulation may be cited as the Mineral Resources Amendment Regulation 2023.

2   Commencement

This regulation commences on 1 September 2023.

3   Regulation amended

This regulation amends the Mineral Resources Regulation 2013.

4   Amendment of sch 4 (Rental payable)

(1)Schedule 4, item 2—
omit, insert—

2	For an exploration permit, for a mineral other than coal—for each sub-block to which the exploration permit applies	nil
2A	For an exploration permit for coal—for each sub-block to which the exploration permit applies	167.70

(2)Schedule 4, items 2A to 4—
renumber as schedule 4, items 3 to 5.
