Comcil and IIouse of Assembly of the said province, in this preserrt

Parliament assembled, as follows:

1. 'It shall be lawful for the Governor, a t any time within six Governor may accept

calendar months from the passing of this Act, to accept a surrender,

surrender of mineral

or surrenders, of the lands comprised in any lease granted for mineral purposes, and to grant a new lcnsc, or new leases, of the lands so surrendered, or any of them, to the lcssccs surrendering the same.

2. Every lease granted under the authority 01 this Act shall be And may grant new
