HEREAS it is desirable to authorize the Governor to remit PrcamLIa,

W certain rent due from the mineral lessees of the Crown here- inafter mentioned-Be it therefore Enacted, by the Governor-in-

Chief' of the Province of South Australia, by and with the advice

and consent of the' Legislative Council and House of Assembly of the said Province, in this present Parliament assembled, as follows:

1. It shall be lawful for the Governor in Executive Chuncil, to Governor may remit

remit payment of rent in respect of the leases enumerated in the rent.

Schedules A, B, and C, hereunto annexed, where such remission

shall be requested withit, six months from the passing hereof, by

written notice to the Commissioner of Grown Lands and Immigra- tion, so nevertheless that no such remission shall exceed the amount of rent hereinafter mentioned, that is to say, in respect of the leases mentioned in the said Schedule A, two years' rent; and in respect of the leases mentioned in the said Schedule B, three years' rent; and in respect of the leases mentioned and described in the said Schedule C, four years' rent.

this Act.
