W HEREAS it is expedient to enable the Governor to lcasc, for Preambles

mineral purposes, Isnds the prop1.x-ty of the Governmclkt, not being waste 1:mrls of the Crown-Be it therefore Enacted, by the Governor-in-Chief of the l'ruvincc of Sonth Australia, with the ad- vice and consent of the Legislative Council. :and House of Assembly of the said Province, in this present Tarliament assembleled, as follows:

the exception of clause 7 of that Act, shd l apply and extend lands other than to all lands in the said Province not being waste lands of F's'e lanLn", the Crown, which may lleretofore l~avc been, or may hereafter

this Act.

the Governor may, in his discretion, dcclinc to grant a lease of any B U C ~ lands; and provided that nothing herein contained shall apply to any lands which now are, or shall hereafter be, set apart for the public uses of the said Province.
