An Act to amend The Mineral Lands Act of 1892.'

[Assented to 13th October, 1893.

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with Preamble

the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legis-

lative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament

assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

Amendment Act, 1898,' and shall be incorporated with and form part incorporation

1. This Act may be cited as 'The Mineral Lands Act of 1892, Short title ang

of The Mineral Lands Act of 1892.'

2. Notwithstanding anything contained in ' The Mineral Lands

Governor maygrant special

Act of 1892,' or the Regulations, the Governor may grant Mineral

mineral leases

Leases of any Crown Lands within a mining district, and such leases may comprise such areas and contain such special covenants and privileges, and shall be subject to such rent, fees, conditions, or reser- vations as the Governor approves or prescribes.

3. No lease shall be granted as aforesaid unless the general' Conditions of

conditions subject to which it is granted have been approved by 1,7,0`„edbeby

Parliament.
