HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Mine Subsidence Compensation Act 1961, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Mine Subsidence Compensation Regulation 1992 is amended by
omitting Schedule 1 and by inserting instead the following Schedule:

EXPLANATORY NOTE
The object of this Regulation is to prescribe the rates of contributions (based on the land value of colliery holdings as determined for 1993) payable in respect of that year to the Mine Subsidence Compensation Fund by the proprietors of colliery holdings.
This Regulation is made under the Mine Subsidence Compensation Act 1961, including section 18 (the general regulation-making power) and section 11 (in particular, section 11 (1A)).
