Regulations under the Milk Authority Ordinance 1971.*

make the following Regulations under the Milk Authority Ordinance 1971.

1 . These Regulations may be cited as the Milk Author i ty Regulations.

2.—(1.) The fee payable in respect of an application for a licence other than a Vending Machine Licence is Ten dollars.

(2 . ) The fee payable in respect of an application for a Vending Machine Licence or a Vendor ' s Permit is T w o dollars.

3.—(1.) T h e fee payable in respect of an application to vary a licence other than a Vending Machine Licence is Ten dollars.

(2 . ) The fee payable in respect of an application to vary a Vending Machine Licence or a Vendor 's Permit is T w o dollars.

4. The fee payable in respect of a licence that is to be deemed to have been granted by virtue of section 41 of the Milk Authority	Ordinance	1971 is Ten
dollars.

5. The annual fee payable in respect of a wholesaler's licence is an amount equal to the sum of Ten dollars and an amount calculated at the rate of 0.15 cents per gallon of milk sold in the Terri tory by the holder of the licence in the course of his business during the term of the licence last preceding the date on which the fee becomes payable.

6. The annual fee payable in respect of a Vendor 's Licence is an amount equal to the sum of Ten dollars and an amount calculated at the rate of 0.25 cents per gallon of milk sold or delivered in the Terri tory by the holder of the licence in the course of his business during the term of the licence last preceding the date on which the fee becomes payable.

7 . T h e annual fee payable in respect of a Vendor 's Permit is an amount equal to the sum of Two dollars and an amount calculated at the rate of 0.25 cents per gallon of milk sold or delivered in the Terri tory by the holder of the licence in the course of his business during the term of the licence last preceding the date on which the fee becomes payable.

8. The annual fee payable in respect of a Retailer's Licence is Ten dollars.

9. The annual fee payable in respect of a Vending Machine Licence is Two

dollars.

10.—(1.) The Chairman of the Authority shall be paid—

(a)	in respect of his attendance on a day at a meeting of the Authority the duration of which on that day is not less than three hours—a fee of Forty dollars; and
(b)	in respect of his attendance on a day at a meeting of the Authority the duration of which on that day is less than three hours—a fee of Twenty-five dollars.

(2 . ) A member of the Authority other than the Chairman shall be paid—

(a)	in respect of his attendance on a day at a meeting of the Authority the duration of which on that day is not less than three hours—a fee of Thirty-five dollars; and
(b)	in respect of his attendance on a day at a meeting of the Authority the duration of which on that day is less than three hours—a fee of Twenty dollars.

(3.) The Chairman of the Authority, and each member of the Authority shall be paid an allowance in respect of travelling expenses in connexion with his attendance at a meeting of the Authority at the rate of Twenty dollars for each day on which he so attends such a meeting.

contained in the Schedule to these Regulations.
