AN ORDINANCE

To amend the Milk Authority Ordinance 1971-1972.

hereby make the following Ordinance under the Seat of Government
(Administration) Act 1910-1972.

MILK AUTHORITY ORDINANCE 1973

1. (1) This Ordinance may be cited as the Milk Authority Ordi­

nance 1973.*

(2) The Milk Authority Ordinance 1971-1972,f as amended by this Ordinance, may be cited as the Milk Authority Ordinance 1971- 1973.

2. Section 34A of the Milk Authority Ordinance 1971-1972 is

amended—

(a)

by omitting paragraphs (c) and (d) of sub-section (5) and " o r (c) the storing of the specified milk product."; and

(b) by inserting after sub-section (6) the following sub­ section:—

" (6A) The holder of a licence other than a Vendor's Licence shall not, in relation to the sale of a specified milk product, demand or receive any payment in respect of the delivery of the specified milk product.

Penalty: Four hundred dollars.".

3. After section 34A of the Milk Authority Ordinance 1971-1972

the following section is inserted:—

" 3 4 B . (1) In this section—

' milk vendor ' means the holder of a Vendor's Licence or a

Vendor's Permit;

' specified milk product ' has the same meaning as in section 34A.
" (2) A milk vendor shall not demand or receive from a person any

payment in respect of the delivery of specified milk products otherwise

than in accordance with sub-section ( 3 ) .

Penalty: Four hundred dollars.
" (3) A milk vendor may, in respect of each day on which he

delivers specified milk products to a person, demand and receive from that person payment of an amount not exceeding the prescribed amount.

" (4) For the purpose of sub-section ( 3 ) , the prescribed amount

is—

(a)

One cent in respect of a day on which the total quantity of specified milk products delivered by a milk vendor to a person does not exceed one pint;

(b)

Two cents in respect of a day on which the total quantity of specified milk products delivered by a milk vendor to a person exceeds one pint but does not exceed two pints; or

(c)

Three cents in respect of a day on which the total quantity of specified milk products delivered by a milk vendor to a person exceeds two pints.".
