I, BRONWYN KATHLEEN BISHOP, Minister for Defence Industry, Science and Personnel, make the following Declaration under the Military Superannuation and Benefits Act 1991.

Citation

               1.   This Declaration may be cited as Military Superannuation and Benefits Declaration No. 8.

[NOTE:  This Declaration commences on gazettal: see Military Superannuation and Benefits Act 1991, s 49 and Acts Interpretation Act 1901, ss 46A and 48.]

Eligible members

               2. For paragraph (f) of the definition of “eligible member” in subsection 30 (1) of the Military Superannuation and Benefits Act 1991, a person is an eligible member if he or she is included in an employment category, and holds a rank, mentioned in the Schedule.
