I, Warren Snowdon, Minister for Defence Science and Personnel, make the following determination under paragraph 6 (1) (a) of the Military Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2004.

Name of determination
This determination is the Military Rehabilitation and Compensation (Warlike Service) Determination 2012 (No. 2).
Commencement
This determination is taken to have commenced on 20 February 2012.
Revocation
The Military Rehabilitation and Compensation (Warlike Service) Determination 2012 (No. 1) is revoked.
Definitions
In this determination:
Act means the Military Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2004.
ADF means the Australian Defence Force.
NATO means the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
Warlike service
For paragraph 6 (1) (a) of the Act, service in an operation mentioned in an item of Schedule 1 is warlike service for the purposes of the Act if:
(a) the service is in an area of operation mentioned in the item; and
(b) the service is during a period mentioned in the item.
