cost of Her Majesty's Troops in proportion to the number of men

each of t lx Australian Colonies to contribute towards the therein respectively stationed-Be it therefore Enacted by the Governor of thc Provincc of South Australia, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly of the said Province, in this present Parliament assembled, as follows:

1. There shall be payable, for the twelve months ending the h u m n o exceeding

to he paid by

thirty-first day of December, one thousand eight hundred and Treasurer in die-

seventy, t o Her Majesty, Hcr heirs and successors, out of the chargeofwarr~t~.

General Revenue of the said Province, a sum not exceeding the sum

of Six Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty Pounds, for the pur-

pose of contributing towards the cost of Her Majesty's Troops on service in the said Province: Provided that payment shall be made monthly, at the rate of Forty Pounds per annurn for each man only who shall bc on service when the usual monthly return is made of officers and soldiers of Her Majesty's infantry on service in the said Province.

this Act.
