1912. No. 165.

PROVISIONAL REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT 1903-1911.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, here by certify that, on account of urgency, the following Regulation under the Defence Act 1903-1911 should come into immediate operation, and make the Regulation to come into operation forthwith as a Provisional Regulation.

REGULATIONS (PROVISIONAL) FOR THE MILITARY FORCES OF THE COMMONWEALTH.

Amendments.

The first paragraph of Regulation 160 (c) be cancelled and the following substituted therefor—

“The following are eligible for appointment provided they are certified to be efficient typists, are physically qualified, and subject to passing the prescribed examination.”

Regulation 160 (e)—

In second and third lines delete the words “be certified to be efficient typists, and ”

In fifth line delete the words “these certificates” and substitute “this certificate.”
