STATUTORY RULES.
PROVISIONAL REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE ACTS 1903-1904.
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby certify that, on account of urgency, the following Regulations under the Defence Acts 1903-1904 should come into immediate operation, and make the Regulations to come into operation forthwith as Provisional Regulations.

Amendments.
Regulation 143—
After “Adjutant-General.”
Add “ (In the case of the Royal Australian Artillery, on the recommendation of the Officer Commanding).”
Regulation 151—
After “District Commandant”
Add “ (In the case of the Royal Australian Artillery, the Officer Commanding).”
Regulation 170—
After “ District Commandants”
Add “ (In the case of the Royal Australian Artillery, by the Officer Commanding).”
Regulation 188—
After “District Commandant”
Add “ (In the case of the Royal Australian Artillery, by the Officer Commanding).”
Regulation 196—
Cancel the following in footnote—“The District Commandant will decide, in the case of a man sentenced to imprisonment, whether he is to be retained in the service or not.”
