PROVISIONAL REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT 1903-10.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby certify that on account of urgency, the following Regulation under the Defence Act 1903-10 should come into immediate operation, and make the Regulations to come into operation forthwith as a Provisional Regulation.

REGULATIONS (PROVISIONAL) FOR THE MILITARY FORCES OF THE COMMONWEALTH.

Amendment.

After Regulation. 522, add:—

522a. Any active member of a Rifle Club who fails to perform the prescribed course of musketry for two (2) consecutive years shall be struck off the roll of the club by the Officer in charge of Rifle Clubs and Reserves, and shall be ineligible to rejoin a Rifle Club for a period of twelve months from the date of his having been struck off.
