REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT 1903-1966.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Defence Act 1903-1966.

Amendment of the Military Financial Regulations 

Members other than General Officers.

1.Regulation 12 of the Military Financial Regulations is amended by omitting sub-regulation (4.) and inserting in its stead the following sub-regulation:—

“(4.) The rate of pay of a member who holds a classification specified in the following table is the rate; per day specified in relation to his classification and, where applicable, to his length of service in the classification:—

Application.

2.The rates of pay specified in sub-regulation (4.) of regulation 12 of the Military Financial Regulations as amended by these Regulations apply to and in relation to service on or after the seventeenth day of July, 1967, as a member of the Permanent Military Forces in any of the following classifications, that is to say, Chaplain-General; Chaplain, Third Class; and Chaplain, Fourth Class.
