Military Financial Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES acting for and on behalf of the Minister of State for Defence, hereby make the following Interim Determination under section 12 of the Defence Amendment Act 1979.

Vehicle allowance

1. Regulation 108 of the Military Financial Regulations is amended by omitting from column 4 of the table in sub-regulation (2)—

(a) “20.3” and substituting “23.7”;

(b) “17.7” and substituting “20.6”;

(c) “16.0” and substituting “17.4”; and

(d) “14.3”and substituting “15.5”.

Oversea rental allowance

2. Regulation 163 of the Military Financial Regulations is amended by inserting “intermediate or” after “oversea on”.

Application

3. The Military Financial Regulations as amended by clause 1 of this Interim Determination shall apply in relation to travel on duty by a member on or after 4 December 1981.
