Amendments of the Military Financial Regulations

Commencement.

1. These Regulations shall come into operation on 9 February 1976.

Pay in lieu of leave on termination of service.

2. Regulation 17a of the Military Financial Regulations is amended by inserting after sub-regulation (1) the following sub-regulation:—

“ (2) For the purposes of sub-regulation (1), the period of recreation leave that might be granted to the member shall, except in the case of a member whose services were terminated by reason of his having been cashiered or dismissed, be deemed to include the recreation leave credit that would have accrued to him on 1 July immediately following the termination of his services if he had continued to serve in the Army and had been on leave without pay from and including the day immediately following the termination of his service.”.
