I, THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR AVIATION, acting for and on behalf of the Minister of State for Defence, hereby make the following Interim

Determination under section 12 of the Defence Amendment Act 1979.

Shipboard allowance

1. Regulation 151 of the Military Financial Regulations is amended by

inserting the following sub-regulation after sub-regulation (2):

"(3) In this regulation, a reference to a member shall include a reserve

member.".

Short term duty allowance

2. Regulation 152 of the Military Financial Regulations is amended by

inserting the following sub-regulation after sub-regulation (6):

"(7) In this regulation, a reference to a member shall include a reserve

member.".

Repeal

3. Regulation 246 of the Military Financial Regulations is repealed.
