I, THE
MINISTER OF STATE FOR AVIATION acting for and on behalf of the Minister of
State for Defence, hereby make the following Interim Determination under
section 12 of the Defence Amendment Act
1979.

Repeal
1. Regulations 43, 44, 45
and 46 of the Military Financial Regulations are repealed.
Special
area allowance
2. Regulation 47 of the
Military Financial Regulations is amended by omitting “under this Division;
Determination 0301, District Allowance; or Determination 0305, Antarctic
Allowance;” and substituting “under Determination 0301, District Allowance;
Determination 0302, Woomera Allowance; Determination 0305, Antarctic Allowance;
or Determination 0306, Broken Hill Allowance,”.
Application
3. This Interim
Determination shall take effect on the day on which Determination 0302, Woomera
Allowance and Determination 0306, Broken Hill Allowance, are made under section
58b of the Defence Act 1903.
