Military Financial Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR DEFENCE, hereby make the following Interim Determination under section 12 of the Defence Amendment Act 1979.

Vehicle allowance

1. Regulation 108 of the Military Financial Regulations is amended by omitting from column 4 of the table in sub-regulation (2)—

(a) “27.9” and substituting “27.1”;

(b) “24.0” and substituting “25.8”;

(c) “19.1”and substituting “21.5”; and

(d) “17.1” and substituting “18.8”.

Application

2. This Interim Determination shall apply in relation to travel by a member—

(a) in respect of the amendment at paragraph 1 (a)—on or after 1 December 1984; and

(b) in respect of the amendment at paragraphs 1 (b), 1 (c) and 1 (d)—on or after 4 December 1983.
