I, THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR AVIATION acting for and on behalf of the Minister of State for Defence, hereby make the following Interim Determination under section 12 of the Defence Amendment Act 1979.

Chaplains’ allowance

Regulation 32 of the Military Financial Regulations is amended by adding at the end thereof the following sub-regulation:

“(5) Chaplains’ allowance is not payable to a chaplain in respect of his appointment or service on or after 1 September 1984.”.
