Financial Regulations2 (Amendment)
I, THE
MINISTER OF STATE FOR AVIATION acting for and on behalf of the Minister of
State for Defence, hereby make the following Interim Determination under
section 12 of the Defence Amendment Act
1979.

Salary and advances against salary
where salary forfeited or pay account overdrawn
1. Regulation 18 of the
Military Financial Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (2) “,
but where a member is serving in stage three of a sentence of detention in a
military corrective establishment he may, subject to such conditions as are
approved by the Minister, be paid a sum not exceeding 20 cents per day”.
Repeal
2. Regulation 182 of the
Military Financial Regulations is repealed.
Stoppages of salary and
allowances
3. Regulation 266 of the
Military Financial Regulations is amended by omitting from paragraph (a) of
sub-regulation (1) “sub-regulation 18 (2)” and substituting “Determination
0805, Detention Allowance, made under section 58b
of the Defence Act 1903”.
Application
4. Clauses 1 and 3 of this
Interim Determination shall take effect on the day on which Determination 0805,
Detention Allowance, is made under section 58b
of the Defence Act 1903.
