Financial Regulations2 (Amendment)
I, THE
MINISTER OF STATE FOR AVIATION acting for and on behalf of the Minister of
State for Defence, hereby make the following Interim Determination under
section 12 of the Defence Amendment Act
1979.

Repeal
1. Regulation 161 of the
Military Financial Regulations is repealed.
Members of different
ranks jointly maintaining a home
2. Regulation 169a of the Military Financial Regulations
is amended by omitting “161 or”.
Members of like rank
jointly maintaining a home
3. Regulation 169b of the Military Financial Regulations
is amended by omitting “161 or”.
Member married to a
member of the Navy or the Air Force
4. Regulation 169c of the Military Financial Regulations
is amended by omitting “161 or” wherever occurring.
5. Regulation 169e of the Military Financial Regulations
is amended by omitting “161 or”.
Application
6. This Interim
Determination shall take effect on the day on which Determination 3725,
Education Assistance Overseas, is made under section 58b of the Defence Act
1903.
